1. Getting Started: The Basics
Before you begin, ensure your candles are in the "ON" position via the manual switch at the bottom of the candle. The remote acts as a secondary controller; it cannot turn a candle on if the physical switch is set to "OFF."
The Button Breakdown:
ON/OFF: The master switch for your daily use.
Timer (2H/4H/6H/8H): Sets the candle to stay on for a specific duration and repeat every 24 hours.
Mode (Candle/Light): * Candle Mode: Mimics a realistic flickering flame.
Light Mode: Steady glow with no flicker (perfect for photography).
Brightness (+/-): Adjust the intensity to suit your mood.
2. How to Set the Smart Timer
The timer is our customers' favorite feature. Here is how to set it correctly:
Wait for the time of day you want the candles to turn on (e.g., 6:00 PM).
Aim the remote at the candles and press your desired duration (e.g., 6H).
The Signal: The candles will usually flash once to confirm the command is received.
The Result: Your candles will stay lit for 6 hours, turn off automatically, and then magically turn back on at 6:00 PM the next day.
Pro Tip: If you have candles in different rooms, you can set them at different times using the same remote!
3. How to Reset Your Remote & Candles
Is your remote not responding? Or maybe one candle is "out of sync" with the others? Follow these reset steps:
Step 1: The Battery Check (The #1 Culprit)
The Remote: Slide out the battery tray at the bottom. We use CR2025 cells. If the red indicator light on the remote is dim, it’s time for a change.
The Pull Tab: If it's a new remote, ensure the clear plastic battery insulator tab has been completely removed.
Step 2: The Hard Reset
If your candles are behaving erratically:
Turn the physical switch on the bottom of every candle to "OFF."
Wait 10 seconds.
Turn them all back to "ON."
Press the "OFF" button on the remote, then "ON" again. This resyncs the signal frequency.
4. Troubleshooting: FAQ
Q: My remote only controls some of the candles, not all.A: This is usually a distance or angle issue. LED remotes use Infrared (IR) signals.
